Default finally got the car on some scales for corner balancing

turns out it didn't even need it. i had set the ride height by measuring from the ground to the fender. i guess i just got lucky. 3152 with 3/4 tank of gas and spare tire/tools removed. cross weight actually got better w/ me in car.

Default oh i know... problem is

i like my cushy leather seats. 4 airbags, and 9 speakers. lol.

people make fun of how heavy these cars are but the truth is that aren't THAT heavy.

but this is why i bought the kart. i might actually have to add ballast or take a weight penalty for F125 class. lol.

Default I think you could do it, but kiss your interior/dash/sound deadening stuff goodbye...

of course you could always just remove the sway bars and "smic tube-bar" to save more weight...
;-)
It would take a ton of effort to even get my car down to 3100lbs. I almost pulled the trigger on some black OZ Superleggaras that would have saved me 10lbs per corner in unsprung weight. Spent the money on new tires and TTE instead. Maybe next year...

Default i hear ya.....>>>

targeting 2300lbs on the 911, or a bit less..problem is most of the weight loss comes from the front firewall forward....which is NOT where you want it coming from....

240hp and 2300lbs is a nice combo! ;-)
