Wish I could tell you that Audi is releasing our TTs from their "hostage" status. Say a prayer to St. John of Matha. He freed captive slaves who were on ships bound to the "New World" from Asia and Africa.

Did learn, however, that my vehicle is probably in a card game with some of your TTs. Perhaps it is already in port awaiting "freedom."

Interesting... I received my VIN and reference number for my 2000 180fwd about the same time last year. Vehicle was finally delivered 5/13/99. If you're in the US, I don't think that they can release a new (2001) model until after May 1st. This may be just heresay but that would explain the lack of detailed delivery information from the dealer.

I have a VIN # and I know it is in port in the US and I have been told I won't see it until May 29

Got my Vin for roadster too but dealer still clueless (says April delivery)
