Hey guys,i'm not sure when my first service is due. I have around 2.8k miles on the clock at the mo.
My DIS tells me my service is due in 15500 miles.
Jeeez, that's a long way off for the first service in my mind.
Should I take it in at 10k miles?, or just wait till my DIS indicates to do so?.
When did you lot take yours in for first service?.
help.....

Upto 20K allegedly.
I've done 2200 miles and mine says service in 9500 miles.
I think it has a mind of its own, mine originally said service in 6000 miles with only 700 on the clock - which was not looking good.
My dealer said wait until it tells you its needs a service.......

Simon, It depends on how you drive your machine, how many mpg's are you returning on average, mine's around 33mpg, though most of my miles are motorway.

When you took delivery, the dealer has the option of setting up your on-board computer to do a regular 10K service interval or let the computer do its own calculation based on mpg etc. This is why you will see the service interval change periodically based upon your drivng habits. My dealer explained all this to me when I took delivery of my 225 C 2 weeks ago. An excellent customer service I reckon.
