Default First time drving in the rain..............smiling...........more.......... ........

For those of you who missed my post I just got my TT a couple of weeks ago. I got up this morning and it was raining hard.So on my way to workout I got a chance to see"what she could do" so to speak.I was pleasently surprised!! Really drove it hard thru the curves and it was really really solid and pulling thru each one.Great car!!! I've got the Pirelli 6000 tires and I know it's probablly 60/40 tires/car. I was smiling all the time I was driving. I can't wait for snow....well maybe not.

Snow tires. Then you'll be ok.

Default I thought that same thing about snow. I have P7000 Super Sports on

and I was TERRIFIED driving in the last snow we had in MD. I agree w/ jprice, for snow get "snow tires".

Driving is the rain is a joy.. It's pouring today in Frederick MD and she sticks like glue !

Default I've had no problems in the snow with the P7000 SS all-season tires..

I thought about getting full-blown all-out snow tires, but opted for all-season. They worked just fine in the snow, and I didn't have to drive timidly either. Just normal driving. ESP would kick in now and again, but otherwise, the car stuck to the road. We had a few really good snows here in Chicago too.

Default I have driven in lots of snow in CO (including 13" TODAY) and I LOVE my P7000 SSs!

I've found the Pirelli P7000 SuperSports to work great in all kinds of snow - from champagne powder to the incredibly heavy, wet cr*ppy stuff we got overnight. I have no complaints whatsoever.

Are they as good as the metal-studded snows I had for my Jeep? No, but they're certainly as good as any other all-weathers I've ever driven on, and obviously much, much, much better than what would in snow be called the 040's o' death...
