FK Konigsport coilovers vs. KW Variant 2 coilovers. Any opinions? How do the FKs compare to the KWs?

I have FK highsport (height only) and they are pretty good, if i were to do it again... KW variant 1
It seems many early coilover systems for the TT had coil binding issues (setting the height at a certain amount caused the coils to compress against themselves). I had the height set but the coils would bind causing creaks and banging noises. After lowering the car, the noises disappeared. From what I gather, KW didn't seem to have as many or no issues with this.
