Default FMIC... How do you disable the pump for the alien washers?

Are there two pumps? one for the windshield and one for the high pressure headlight washers?

Do I just block off the hose under the fender?

TIA.

Default unscrew the rear portion of the drivers side fender liner

it will be apparent which pump is for the aliens.

Default May I ask why do you guys disable the alien?

I have read few threads about disabling it. I can understand that it use up the washer, but isn't it a good feature to have when you need it? On my 2005QC, it doesn't activate every time I wash the windshield (with the headlight on), only when I hold or press the trigger longer. Isn't it the same with the older year models?

Ditto, which is why you must disconnect the power cable when plugging hose.

Default yeah,....but the sleeve around the motor there breaks easy>>>

we just did that on VenTTed's car.....the sleeve was split on both sides...we pulled out the motor and plugged the rubber grommet with a bolt covered in teflon tape....worked perfectly..
