FMIC Questions

So I can't sleep and I am up early in the morning pondering my options.
I want to install a FMIC on my 2000 180 Quattro. Is it better to just buy the Forge kit with its manifold or locate a 225hp Manifold/Injectors and then buy a kit for a 225?
And while we are on the topic of mods... how much work is it to get the turbo out and swap it with a K04? Do I have to pull the engine or can I do this from under the car?

than by piecing it together. Plus it comes with the knick-knacks you need like the 225 brake booster cable, hoses, clamps, etc. Unless you got a 225 mani for free it's a deal.
A lot of the 1.8T VW guys have done entire turbo swaps from under the hood, without even jacking the car. No need to pull the engine.

I put a Forge kit on my 2001 180 and it worked,
but the supplied hoses weren't designed for an
AWP engine, so I had to ad-lib a bit. It's OK, but
you should be aware if this is your situation, too.
