I have a couple issues with my fog lights and am taking the car in for service on Fri.

The fog lights are on whenever I turn on the lights. I don't have to pull the switch out to turn them on. They are not on when the hi-beams are switched on. Does anyone know what the problem is here?

Also, the light that illuminates the light switch is always on even when I don't have the lights on. (not the indicators around the dial...they come on when the lights are turned on) Is this normal?

Ideas anyone?

This has been noted in the past. I think it turned out to be a faulty switch. Easy repalcement.

Happened to me after about 10,000 miles. Dealer replaced switch. All is still right after 17,000 miles. I could get my fogs to turn OFF if I pulled on the switch and held it taunt. When I took my hand off it the fogs went back on. Dealer said clearly a short in the switch.
