Default Foggy Front Headlight

Greetings once again,

Does anyone have any information regarding instructions on how to clean the inside of a headlight? My driver side headlight has clouded and fogged up so bad on the inside that it is affecting the distance of the light at night.

Is there any way to get in there for a cleaning without taking it to the dealer or mechanic? It looks terrible.

I would have posted a picture but I think it's fairly straightfoward what I'm trying to do. I just want to clean inside the headlight glass. Possible?

Thanks,

GarreTT

Default Removal of the headlight assembly is necessary for this process...

Search the forum for write ups on angel eyes installations and headlight housing painting.

Default Be careful when cleaning the inside of the lens

Some people have reported that there is a coating on the inside of the lens and if you try to clean it you can make things much worse.

Default Does the fog ever clear up on its own? Mine does this on occasion.

The headlights are vented so they should clear up on their own...

My driver side one has been fogged for awhile. Taking them out seems really tough.
