Default Forge Splitter Valve Installation Questions

So, I have a Forge Splitter Valve, and, thanks to various online instructions/threads, I understand how to install it. Problem is, I'm not all that mechanically inclined, and I don't know how to get to the stock DV.

Can anybody tell me where exactly the stock DV is located in the engine bay, and what I need to/should remove to get to it (covers, etc)? Pictures much appreciated.

Thanks in advance!

I've had nothing but issues with that valve man...

In every configuration...

I'd say return it while you still can.

Got a Hyperboost DV and I'm all squared away.

I would choose my stock 710n DV over the Forge. I hope it works for you.

Again--can you tell me why? I thought Forge was a pretty solid name.

Forge is a very solid name. I've seen too many with problems trying to set this up as a BOV. JMO

Ah, gotcha. I will only be running it in the hybrid/full recirculation configurations.

Well, first of all, there is a part inside you have to turn to install it as full recirc, which I didn't use it for... but when I got it NEW from TT stuff... it was in there wrong.

Anyway, I fixed that..

Adjusting it is a drag, because you can't tell a goddamn difference...

I've tried EVERYTHING, I gave it a 5 month chance...

Then I traded it straight up for a used Hyperboost... nothing but love for this old thing...

Car shifts AWESOME, sounds great... drives better...

That splitter valve is just FAR too intensive for my tastes.

Maybe I'm just stupid.

I called forge, I re-read the instructions, NOTHING helped.

I tried running it in recirc mode for a few days, and it didn't throw a CEL just FYI, but it sounds nothing short of retarded.

It goes, pssdldldllddlldllldl

Good luck though.

I wish you the best.
