It's just too bad that you need to be forgiven for just about anything you do.

I shouldn't say that, that's a debate I don't want to touch. But, for me it seems that way!

Default I was in a convent school as well. Did you have to do all of those circles in penmanship class?

RSI city!

And did your nuns walk around with those big wooden rulers, too?

Default Yep. The worst punishment I received was having to learn the Prologue to the Canterbury

Tales by heart in olde English and stand up and recite it in front of the entire student body.

Can still recite it.

Default LOL. Was in a convent boarding school in Georgetown in D.C. The campus

was separated from Georgetown University (and all those cute boys we couldn't date) by a fence with barbed wire on the top. My roomate and I decided to go AWOL between study hall and dinner to go meet some of those guys (we looked real hot with our uniform plaid skirts rolled up around our waste to make them shorter - it was 1966). Mission accomplished, the Jesuits at the Tombs (famous Georgetown bar under 1789 restaurant if still there) even bought us a pitcher of brew, but guess who was waiting for us when we were climbing back over the barbed wire with our heavily Binaca'd breath. Yep, strike-terror-into-the-hearts-of-everyone, Sister Mary Roberta, the headmistress. Of course, on top of that, I got my skirt caught on the barbed wire and ripped it right up the front. We were campused for 4 months and grateful we weren't kicked out.

I'm understanding the 2001 DSC more and more! Great story. I'm glad I asked.
