In fact its the same part # as the 180 as a...

core head or a fully assembled one.
Even the cams are the same profile, ie; lift, overlap and duration. Valve diameters, combustion chambers and intake/exhaust ports. There is NO difference internally save for piston crown profile for lower compression ratio in the 225. Even in spite of what we've all heard about larger main bearings, connecting rods, wrist pins etc, its not true... same part numbers again.
All power enhancing components are add-ons, ie; K04, exhaust manifold, intake manifold, fuel pressure regulator and 2nd intercooler and related ductwork.
It would seem these engines are assembled as a unit with "ATC" engine code for 180 and "AMU" engine code for 225. "A" is a Genesis evolution high compression TT designation, "TC" is turbo charged. In the 225 "A" again is engine designation and "MU" is "modified unit." The code determines what the engine assembly line adds to an engine as it comes down the line, before being placed into a car.

What do you think about a monthly elected best contributor to the forum award?>
There are so many here that are pipelines of knowledge for the rest of us parasite. It just seems that noteriety should be given and homage paid.

I'd be afraid that...
it would point fingers in a "I know more then you" sort of way. While most people wouldn't take it that way, some would and could potenially cause the awful tense threads that make it no fun to hang out here. Not a flame... I'm just concerned that such an election could go awry....
