Well, I haven't been around this forum since I got my A4 a couple of years ago.

What brought me back is a Black 2001 TT that I found. It's a Roadster 225Q Certified used with a little over 11,000 miles. It's fully loaded with all the options including the baseball leather.

I'm not all that familiar with the TT as far as problems related to certain model years, and since people tend to post their experiences mostly when they experience problems (on places like Edmunds) I was hoping you guys could offer your experiences, suggestions, etc.

What do you guys think? Should I? How good have these car turned out (reliability wise)? So far I've only had few minor problems with my 02A4, I'm hoping TT's are about the same. Lastly, how much would you pay for it?

$25k would be a good price IMO

Really? $25K? mmm...that's a lot less than what the dealer has it listed at. I thought it was overpriced a bit at just over 30k even when you consider I would still get about 3 yrs warranty, but I jsut didn't think it would be that much of a difference.

Like I said , $25 would be a "good" price. My 2001 22tQ roadster with 36k and 6speed was $22350

with 32K miles. In Michigan, the going rate was around 25-26K. They should negotiate, tho. That's pretty low mileage, but the 4 years will run the factory warranty out before the miles do.

OK...that gives me a better idea as to what to shot for with regards to price. So are you guys happy with your TT's? Any problems?

I test drove it already, but there is only so much you can tell from a short test drive....
