now maybe he can ensure that the next TT is as well designed as the previous. </wishful thinking>
<i>Thomas, 47, left Thursday as head of advanced product design at the DaimlerChrysler AG unit's Pacifica studio in Carlsbad, spokesman Sam Locricchio said. The departure was part of the "normal ebb and flow" of the business, Locricchio said Thursday.
Freeman went to DaimlerChrysler from Volkswagen's California studio in 1999. He took over Pacifica in March 2002. Freeman and Ford Motor Co. design chief J Mays were credited with creating the designs for the New Beetle and the Audi TT while they worked together at Volkswagen AG's California studio.</i>
I just realized why I liked the Chrysler Pacifica... Freeman probably designed it. At least I am consistent

I'd often see a silver TTC with Michigan plates parked in the lot. Not sure it was Freeman's, but I had my suspicions.

rgruppe is an exclusive club for older modded 911s from what I've read. Freeman was a cofounder. I think it's an invite only deal. Looks like they've got a drive to Mt St Helens set up for May. I might have to try and shadow that one

on all models and the new VW Golf and Jetta cousins.
2nd task is to ensure the new TT is no heavier or larger than current TT. My guess is that it's probably too late though.
