I have a 2001 225TTR at 21,000km. Starting from 6 months ago, the front end started producing popping and squeaky noises when: (1) going over ramps, even at slow carpark speed; and (2) slowly moving forward (and backward) with steering at 60-80% (either side).
I have done research and knew that had something to do with the sway bar and bushing rubbing...My dealer put in a new sway bar in June and the noises were gone (for 2 weeks!) and the dealer put in another new bar (so this is my 3rd set). Now , the noise no.1 is gone but no.2 still happens.

I guess this is either something very fundamental which cannot be cured by putting in new sway bar...or it could be some QC problems for this set of sway bar.

I know many of TT owners here have or had this problem. I really want to get a long-term solution so the noises can disappear, in particular before the warranty expries.

sorry to say this, but i have been trying to get this fixed on my 2001 TTR for 20,000 miles. i wish you the best of luck with your dealer and service advisor, mine have been great, but the regional service guy for florida is not very good at his job. (biteing tounge)
