Default Front Magnetic License Plate "mod"

i don't really consider this a mod as much as i do a "mod-lite"..anyway..

following these instructions I went to epoxy the magnets on and whatnot...everything was great until I realized that I had calculated the placement of the magnets upside down of the plate valance. It looks akward and unnatural and it's gotta be redone. problem: i'm not sure i'll be able to unmount the epoxy-glued magnets so I might have to get a new dolomite plate valance..any thoughts on where and cost? These instructions were lacking some other fairly significant details..I'll save that for another thread.

Would these magnets be regular or rare earth?

Default rare earth, i believe..all i know is...

..you place them about 8" from each other and they go slamming into each other (and subsequently shattering btw - so i highly unrecommend doing that)

Default so, safe to 160mph?

or take them off and go 160mph.

good solution. although in NJ, you would be hard pressed to leave it off. Has anyone gotten a ticket while parked with no front license plate on?
