stock front bar is 25 mm So, why is a H & R or Neuspeed 25 mm F sway bar so much better?

on that note, I run stock class in scca... has anyone else in this class used a front sway bar with any success? I keep hearing it will worsen the already prevalent understeer. I was thinking about going adjustable.

Oh no not an SCCA member. The SCCA is an organization that charges you left and right with excessive fees. Then makes you get up at the crack *** of dawn to go race. I said screw that stuff, street racing is free and a lot tougher.
Stabilizers of the same diameter but one being made of a stiffer metal will give you the same affects of as a slightly bigger diameter bar.
If you have an early audi 2000 - 2001 that has not had the control arm recall and sway bar recall. Your car will have slight over steer.
For the rest of the TT's, they have excessive understeer. The cheapest way to change this is to get a new sway bar in the rear and have it on the tightest setting. This will stop that annoying waiting for the rear of the car to catch up when your doing 140mph yanking the car around. I swear with the stock suspension you could almost count 5 seconds before the rear of the car caught up.
With the H & R kit your car will go from handling like an escort to what a european car should be like before the NHTSA got their hands on it.
If you want big performance suspension with little suspension price. Get the H & R sway bar kit and all poly bushings. You will spank the hell out of the guys with the expensive coils and crap if they don't have sway bars and poly bushings. Trust me....
The poly bushings will make the car respond, and react quicker, plus give more stable braking. The sway bars will pretty much solve your excessive under steer issues.

It takes many years of practice practice to handle at high speeds. I am very comfortable up to 160mph. Luckily other cars aren't. But these audi's stock are governed to 140mph, such a pain cuz my buddies 350z's is governed much higher and when were horsing around at those speed, he pulls away from me :-(. I am a former Mitsu gen 1 GSX'er and with those awd suspension cheaply modded C6 vettes don't have a chance shaking you. Then again I have been at races where some rich guy has a vette or viper and gets spanked by a s2000 cuz he can't handle the vette in turns. Defcon 1 is good stuff to. I am just a huge fan of high temp carbon brakes, poly kits. oem type performance struts, and oem replacement springs before shelling out huge cash for over priced brakes, springs, struts. You would be surprised how good the cheaper route can be and still be a decent daily driver.

O. i was thinking turns like at an auto x, sharp 90 deg. I hit 142 mph, a few days ago, i was making a slight turn, the second turn looked a bit hard so i slowed down.
i thought it was governed at 130. maybe it was my revo software and other mods.
I will post up and let you guys know what i think about the defcon 1 and 19mm rear swaybar.

I did notice the F & R control arms looked kind of weak should I replace them?
I was looking at the H & R 25 mm Blue Bar for Rear
and the Neuspeed 15.02.25.9 25 mm for Front.
I have already received my H & R red springs to go along with Koni sport shocks 8710.1377 F 80.2818 R
I am looking for a brace bar inside engine compartment to replace stock one.
So far how does this sound for a suspension set up I am replacing all bushings F & R either with Powerflex/Steve's
and what comes with bars.
if you have had yours Revo the limiter is taken off who knows how fast you can go.
also, 350z's have a limiter of 150 mph for years 03-07 I believe with the 08' with the 3.7 liter it went up to 160 mph.
Do you feel I am headed in the right direction with the suspension????????? Thanks so much for the feed back.
