The miles to empty fuction does change with your throttle application going down with aggressive use and up when light footing. I noticed this on my trip last week. I have seen the low fuel light only once and drove about six miles for gas. I don't know how far you can go on the light and don't intend to find out. JIM

My last fill-up was just after the light came on. It took about 11.5 gallons to fill - given that the TT has a 14+ gallon tank, there must be about 2.5 to 3 gallons left when the warning light comes on. Plenty of time to find you favorite petrol.
Vic

If my experience in an '89 Acura Legend is any example, it's a good idea not to push your luck and run completely out of gas. Although no one was ever able to explain exactly how and why it happened, after I ran dry the car started stalling unexpectedly, the way carbureted cars with vapor lock used to act. The problem started while the car was still in warranty, but the dealer was unable to correct it until after the warranty expired. Nevertheless, Acura eventually paid to have an entirely new computer installed, after which I never experienced a problem.
Again, I don't understand how running dry could have adversely affected the ignition, fuel supply or the computer, but I make it a point to get gas when the yellow light comes on, without delay.
