Default Fuel lid button will not work.

My fuel lid button and rear hatch button is not working. It looks like a blown fuse, but the Audi manual doesn't specify which fuse to replace. Thanks.

Default sometimes it will just reset itself

pretty common 'bug'

try the manual release if you need to fill-up

locking unlocking car a few times usually resets it

(in 5yrs I've had it happen twice)

Default Amazing...same thing happened to me on Wednesday...

I got my TT back from being at the dealer to replace a vacuum hose that had a leak (CEL has been on for almost a year, and third times the charm to find out what is really wrong). Anyway, got home and the gas cap and trunk lid switches did not work. I was some kind of pissed. Have to take the TT back in next week to get the correct hose installed, so figured I'd bitch at that time (figured it happened because of one of their techs).

Figured out how to open the trunk (pull **** in the compartment behind the passenger seat (I have a roadster). Then, inside the trunk, on the right hand side, pop open the small door and pull on the red cable...gas cap door opens.

So, I can still drive and fill up with gas. Had to do some shopping, so went out, came back home and both switchs were working! Can't fix it if it ain't broke. Good luck with yours.

Default My first TT had that same problem the day I bought it at the dealer!

It ended up fixing itself... funny as the dealer couldn't figure out the problem... and told me to bring it back on monday and showed me how to manually release the door. Pretty funny! After it fixed itself the problem never returned in the 2 years I owned it!

I manually released the latch today, and started the car. It started to work again like nothing happened. Weird.
