Just something to think about if your garage is attached to your house
the walls that are between your house and the garage should be of one hour fire rated construction. By cutting holes in the wall you may have compromised the fire resistance of the wall. Just something to think about, otherwise a pretty nifty way to get some storage cabinets with little intrusion into the garage space.
