Default Our hyacinth blubs are starting to break through the mulch

The Yarrow has some babies starting to come up; the silver mound(Artemisia schmidtiana) is waking up; sedum X has what looks like a buncha Hens & Chicks at the base;

The common maple(don't know variety) has buds everywhere, just waiting to burst out, as does the dolgo crabapple. (In ealy May, the Dolgo crabapple and Kwanzan cherry bloom the most beautiful flowers)

I took the burlap off our Japanese maples(splitleaf and bloodgood varieties) now that the cold winter winds are gone.

I hold vigil out in my yard daily, just waiting for the plants and trees to come back to life.

I love gardening! (wife thinks I'm nuts!)
