Default Gas Gauge Goes Haywire >>>>Again!

Two weeks ago I had my instrument cluster replaced after I developed the old "gas gauge goes all the way to the right when I fill up and never gets worse than 3/4 full" problem. It seems to be okay for a day or two, but now it is erratic. Sometimes it seems to be about right, other times it shows far more gas than is in there. Like today, it showed about 3/8 full in the morning, and then 3/4 full in the afternoon (and, no, I did not put in any gas!).

So, do I need another instrument cluster, or is at sending unti this time?

Default The instrument cluster was probably fine - but the sending units are fried

it's funny - the Bentley has a test to perform on them and many dealers are either too lazy or too stupid to perform it.

Default Thanks. Funny thing is, last night it went all the way to the right and is now staying there! >

Looks like another trip to the dealer.
