Gas hatch and rear hatch buttons have stopped working.

Gas hatch and rear hatch buttons have stopped working.
Had just filled up and driven a short distance and noticed a CEL. Thought I may not have put gas cap on right as it was raining hard and had done it quick.
Noticed button would not work checked fuses headlight washer one was bad all other fuses were fine. How do you manualy open gas hatch on coupe?
Any Ideas on what may have happened? I can still open rear hatch with remote key.
