Default Gauge pod "peeps"....I'm thinking about getting Westach gauges.

These are nice because they will make custom dual gauges with black faces and red backlight. They fit a standard 2 1/16" opening and are 2" deep. I think that will work fine with thegauge pods that Chad is selling. JazziTT has these gauges and they look great!

I'm thinking about going with a dual oil temp/oil pressure and then another dual boost/EGT.

Default Question on this gauge . . .

Does the word Boost under the left needle refer to the 0-35 range or the 0-15 range? It looks very weird . . . to me.

Good question! I only have to find out once, though.

Default The 0-15 range. the left side needle is in the left-center of the gauge....

the needle sweeps to the indicators on the right of the gauge.

Default Keep in mind that EGT is a bit tricky to do properly.....

If you put the sensor in the turbo housing (best choice but requires tapping and threading) or the manifold (2nd best and requires tapping and threading) both of which will most likely require removal of said components, which may get a little pricey.

If you cheap out and only install the EGT probe in the downpipe (easiest and can be done on the car) it will not give you an accurate reading and will not tell you anything until it is too late and your turbo is toast already.

So does the word "boost" apply to the right needle sweeping the left?

Default Hmmm...I don't want to tap either of those things. Chris recommended that, though..

...so I'll have to see what he thinks on that one.

Default Hmmmm, now looking at this face further, I'm not so sure.

what are the limits of the EGT gauge?
that is, what does this read?
what's are the max. pressure readings for the EGT?
