Gee Brad. How did I know when I went to bed that you'd delete the parent to my proof post?

Default Gee Brad. How did I know when I went to bed that you'd delete the parent to my proof post?

Then, I figured, "Naah. He wouldn't be so low as to do that."

Default Brad Willis: Historical Revisionist.

This post was originally a child reply to a Brad Willis parent reply. He has since deleted it to cover his tracks. https://forums.audiworld.com/tt/msgs/472697.phtml

SUBJECT: Foul! That's revisionist history! I saw all those edits, buddy! :-(

Then, I posted Thread 60000 as my girlfriend watched & witnessed.
Then, Brad had a post which read, "Thread 60000!"
The thread count after Brad's post was 60,001.

Then Brad's "Thread 60000!" post was edited to correctly read, "Thread 60001!"

Then the fun began.

Upon a refresh, there were only 60,000 threads.
Brad's 5998 post was deleted. His 5999 post subject was edited to read "Thread 5998!"
Then, his "Thread 60001!" post was edited to read, "Thread 60,000! Woo hoo!"

I believe any Moderator can back me up.

Default Brad's self-congratulatory response to that reply

He then included a photo of a bag of "Gold Medal" flour.

Default So this morning I wake up....

Brad deleted his 59998 (which used to be his 5999 <sic> post)
Brad deleted his original 60,000 (actually 60001) post.
Brad posted a brand new 60,000 thread post which is actually thread 60,007.

Brad deleted all the original 'French Judge' and other threads.

Well I guess as it stands now, neither of you have thread #60,000. Jason Dale owns it.

Default But, it's not (or shouldn't be) a moving target.

The first time the TT Forum hit 60,000 it was because of my thread. If someone deleted a post from 1999 today, then it would decrease the number of posts prior to my post 60,000, thereby technically making it no longer thread 60,000. But in reality, it wouldn't change the fact that my thread was the first thread 60000 ever on the TT Forum.

I posted thread 60000. Then Brad, for reasons I can not comprehend, seriously got off and got his chuckles by pulling shenanigans. It came across as the typical behavior Brad exhibits on the Forum when he's been drinking.

I'm realistic. I realize that hitting some arbitrary number of threads run by some program on some remote computer doesn't amount to a hill of beans. But, the principle of the thing really irks me.

It bothers me that Brad cheated to manipulate the appearance of who posted the thread.
While it tickled me that Brad thumbed his nose at me with images of Gold Medal flour and "Judge Judy.," I found it ironic and in poor taste that Brad would display a post and image depicting me no longer needing to ********** because I have a girlfriend (and have, in fact, had this same girlfriend for a year and a half & have lived with her since August) when he has no girlfriend I know of and regularly shares his computer dating experiences with the Forum.
It bothers me that Brad went back and edited and deleted posts and whole threads in order to remove any appearance of impropriety. In fact, if I hadn't stated the facts, nobody would be the wiser.

I don't see the need for me to go any farther with this. I didn't think to take a screenshot or anything when I hit 60000. But then, I never thought I'd have to 'defend' that, um, distinction. But, I do have a witness. And, I do have screenshots of the thread trees and some of the posts that Brad manipulated, edited, or deleted to change the story.

I want to say for the record that I like Brad, I appreciate his contributions to the Forum, and I stood up for him when he left the Forum under fire this past summer. But, I don't care much for 'drinking Brad.' And, I didn't see the humor in this.

That's my peace.

Quick Reply: Gee Brad. How did I know when I went to bed that you'd delete the parent to my proof post?
