I used to do that as well, living in a "city" can't just hop in the car and wing it.
I use my GPS all the time now, even to places on roads I know. Often times I might have thought my intuitive way of getting somewhere was the fastest and it wasn't, or I have to detour for traffic and a map doesn't always help with that, or I decide to detour to another location before going to the final destination (requires multiple printed out routes the old way), or there are times when I might know the road, but not sure where on the road the location is.
I like being able to just grab the address and go now.
