Default This is a pic of the "element" removed....

<center><img src="http://images7.fotki.com/v151/photos/4/469393/1836431/100_0121-vi.jpg"></center><p>You won't need to remove the element from the tube to clean it though. This is just to give you an idea of what it is. Spray some cleaner on the connection on top (where my fingers are) and on the area on the bottom right. If you look at the pic there's a curved part there. Inside there is a little electronic part that the air flows into. That's what you'll clean. You can still clean these parts when it's in the tube.

Like I said, when you put it back in, make sure that the curved part and the opening are on the side facing the air filter box.

Default Awesome guys...

thanks Kode and Kareem for the help, its greatly appreciated!

I'll try and clean first and see how that works, if it fails then I will try to get a refurb. one at the dealer and just remove the element to put into steves BAMM.

Was there anything special you have to do to remove the element from the housing?
