Default you told me 36/33 is overinflated. you have yet to support your claim.

you said the issue was "very simple", but i have yet to see any real explanation. if you can't provide one, that's fine.

i was hoping i could be pointed to some more scientific info than what i had seen so far. i'm sorry, but suggesting i "play with the pressures" isn't rigorous enough for me.

look at the new posts. as you can see, we (not just me and you, but everyone responding) are STILL not in agreement on this matter. we're lacking some information. i couldn't find it. i was hoping someone else could. (john, thanks for the lead.)

i see you now agree with me, that the info on the gas lid are recommendations, not figures to be adhered to exactly. however, you apparently read the figures as a max, while i read them as min. no semantics problem here. we very clearly disagree. i haven't seen any info yet that tells me i'm wrong.

to answer your question regarding whether or not i cared about pressures with my previous car, the answer is a definite "no". i didn't care much about my previous cars, period. that has changed. i love my TT and i now have the time and desire to understand it. i have a great science background and worked in 3 different auto assembly plants during the course of 4 years. i am well able to understand every topic that pops up here .. eventually. i won't be put off by your comments that imply i am somehow not fit to ask questions or disagree with you.

No, he's not. 38/35 is *really* the correct pressures, and Sandra will PROVE it!
