1) dremel w/ cut off wheel, cut off the top part where the metal meets the rubber.

2) dremel w/ round sanding head, shape the top round.

3) touch-up middle of the top (where the metal/plastic is cut off) w/ a Sharpie or some black touchup something.

5 minutes, costs nothing and looks much better. Radio reception still works fine.

Reception hasn't changed cause that antenna on the roof is not hooked up to your radio....:-)
