Default GIAC X-CHIP FMIC program w/o FMIC

Has anyone installed the GIAC Xchip FMIC without having a a FMIC yet, I am planning to get the chip first then the FMIC later. Any thoughts?

Default no problems with getting the chip first. with the cold weather coming in,

you shouldn't have to worry about it until next summer. enjoy the chip while you can.

Default Correct, my car was the car that chip was built around

Garrett put the same software in a non-FMIC 225 and ended up calling it a day. you need to get the new current Xchip and blow off the old FMIC Xchip.

Yup.. the OLD FMIC X chip IIRC was programmed on a car with crushed hoses.
