Default A Good Bye Post...

Unless you truely understand the connection of one to a TT this post is just all BS... it is 9 pm here in Reston..I have had a couple of nice bourbons...and I have been sitting in the garage to say good bye to a TT. CHPSTTR and AMULETT were always together and it is hard to think one without the other. So for this last time here is the three to become a two...to CHPSTTR good journey and let nothing hit you other than the wind...and to AMULETT welcome your new garage buddy..AMG 32.
Sorry...I get very attached to our cars...to the future.

We'll all miss CHPSTTR. It's a shared addiction, I suspect.

Default Now AmuleTT will have a new friend, and since they're not related...

Maybe they'll breed!

But seriously, I totally understand, as I was very attached to my first Neiman Marcus TT. Ever since I first saw it in the NM Christmas catalog, I had been counting the days, the months until I took delivery.

Despite the many problems, it was a sad day when I drove away from it for the last time. I might have even shed a tear, but don't tell anyone.

Sounds like your TT is going to a good home, and I'm sure the SLK will be an absolute blast. Now grab a tissue and pour another bourbon!

Default You're losing a TT, but maybe the forum is gaining a new friend. Does the new owner know the forum?

Have they read the posts about the car? If they have, I'll bet they feel pretty happy to get a car that was so loved and cared for.

I took my Alfa for long drives each day the week before I sold it, and I too was very sentimental about seeing it go. I know exactly how you feel.
