Default Good Morning MichaelTT! Question re: Audi center caps...

Noticed that I have basically 'copied' your entire wheel/brake/centercap, and valve stem cover scenario on your car. Only major difference is the state of cleanliness. :-)

With regard to the center caps though, did you glue yours inplace, or otherwise attach them? Mine seem a bit loose although I doubt they will come off, but it could happen and I want to secure them. Any ideas? Are yours 'really' tight?

BTW, the center caps I received from Clair had a circular metal ring that had to be removed in order to fit into the Sportec hub. Did you remove yours?

TIA!

Default Finish is nice and 'plastic-y". Color match is 'off' but works well with the wheels...

The center caps are actually a perfect match for the anthracite finished Sportec's.

Default Glen - I believe MTT used the center caps from the forged 5 spokes...

As did a few others, including myself.

The tabs are good enough to ensure that the caps won't fall out, but the hot glue keeps them from rattling.

I think the center caps that you can get from Clair are slightly different. The ones from the OEM 5 spokes are made out of some alloy and have been priced out to around $50 a piece by another forum member. I think the one from Clair are about $10 a piece.

Hope that helps.

Are you dropping subliminal messages to me to trade center caps? NEVER! ;-)

Default You know the clair center caps come in two colors right? Dark and light silver. The light silver

matches my AEZ Radons PERFECTLY.

Default Jenner - how do they fit the AEZ Radons?

Do you need to do anything else to them?

I have the 16" AEZ radons for my winter setup.

I'm running the identical winter setup and the lighter caps fit the Radons perfectly with the inner ring removed. Colour match is purrfecTT.
