it's a factory warranty that extends (i think) 4 years past the original factory warranty. the sway bar bushings should be covered by both warranties (factory and cpo) so I got screwed. don't let the same happen to you.

My front swaybar just started squeaking monday have 58k miles.

Yep true, Mark I's are 19mm front and 15mm rear (I have one of those for sale). Now mine is 19/19

Default Great! But what a waste to put in a new bar. At most, just the bushings would do. But they get

more money doing the whole thing...

Default I remember reading that the original bar

had some plastic sheath on it where the bushings wrap around it that has since been done away with on the new "stock" bars. That *may* be better.
