Default Good shops in Tacoma

I'm going to take my car(2001 225 roadster) to have a noise checked out. Can anyone recommend a shop in this area? Timing belt will be next repair a little down the road. Thanks

Default Not much in the Tacoma area that I know of for Audi's

I can't think of any place I would recommend for any newer Audi in Tacoma. I would hate to say it but take a drive to Renton or Redmond. Do you know where the noise is coming from in General? I have a '01 Roadster too and live down by Eatonville. MGH

Default Re: Not much in the Tacoma area that I know of for Audi's

I'll try to describe it. It's coming from the front wheels(maybe both but not sure) and it seems to be a shh..shh.shh sound but also a higher pitched sound almost like a fan belt with the same pattern that is faster or slower depending on speed. I really hear at speeds below 35. Not loud but it is noticeable. Funny thing is if I turn the steering wheel just a hair to the left it reduces and a little to the right it gets a bit louder. It does seem to correspond to each rotation of the wheel. I jacked up one side of the front and spun the wheel and it seemed like the rotor was slightly warped because at the same spot on each rotation there was a slight rub. Sorry for the long story. Any ideas?
