Default Goose sounds

Just purchased a 01 TT 225, it came with a Modshack intake. When ever I reach 0 on the turbo gauge I hear a goose like sound. I'm being told my DV may need to be replaced
- do you agree and would a good replacement be a OEM Audi TT 710N DV/BPV to solve the issue
- Lastly is this something I could do and how would I tell which spring code to use

"AFLAK"? ;-)

Probably nothing wrong - do you know offhand if you have the oem or an aftermarket DV? On an 01 by this time you might have one that someone's swapped out to a bov or such.

Default As I told you on the phone Chris..>>

Honking is your stock DV. Hit the search above, type in honk, TTMK1 forum and see hundreds of reports on this. I have NO interest in misleading you..

Sounds like a common problem. Thanks again, going to order the stock OEM from TTstuff tomorrow. Seems it comes with four springs, how do you tell which one you need? Have you ever replaced one, something one can do on a Sunday?

Set it up with the green spring (stamdard set-up) and you should be fine (unchipped I;m guessing)

Default uh....OEM does not come with springs......>>>

i think you are looking at the springs for the forge DV....

I would go aftermarket myself...and the Forge 007 is rock solid...
