Default I had the same thing, but for me,

it turned out to be the induction hose. I initially replace the 710N for another (stock DV) nothing solved. (realize, this is a phenomenon that just recently started for me with the 710N so I was perplexed as to why it would start now, at 72k miles, the 710 has always worked flawlessly for me.) I purchased a samco intake hose, because I have always wanted to install it, not to think it would do it, but it did. Nice accidental find. I was contemplating a forge DV but the intake hose solved it. I still run stock 710N, samco intake and no more honk at all even at "0" pressure, which was the only pressure it would honk! or, it could be the insulating properties of the Samco.

Default You may need to..>>

Cut the old clamps off as I mentioned...New Forge comes with a set of clamps though...I'm not sure if you're confused, but OEM is the same plastic valve you have in there...No need for springs. TTstuff's website is a little confusing on that...recommend you upgrade to the Forge though..

you are correct, they show the OEM then right under it they show the spring kit which would make you think you need the kit. May be a dumb question but what is the performance difference and life time difference between the OEM for $57 and the Forge 007P for $134? I was also looking at the The Splitter Combination DV/BOV but I think the blow off would drive me nuts after while

Default The Forge is...>>

a nicely machined Part out of billet aluminum. OEM is a cheap plastic part. Forge has a lifetime warranty, OEM can start honkng again at any time. Forge needs lubing once a year, OEM requires no maintenance. Forge is a solod performer all around that many here run. If you plan to do any additional performance enhancements to the car, go for the Forge..

Default The Forge 007 was one of the first mods I did, and>>>

if I could do it you can too. The hardest part is cutting off the factory clamps. I got the polished version for a little bling. Just yesterday I ordered the DV relocation kit from Forge, but that's a different story.

Steve, Hans, Bipes and others here will never steer you wrong. I've learned a ton from them, my car is all the better for it, and I'm a happy driver. I've done a lot of mods based on the advice and "how-to" from forum members so use the search feature and the answers are always available.

Default APR R1 diverter valves

I have a set of the R1's in my RS6 and under part throttle (low boost) with the engine warm they honk fairly loud. Makes me think old Mother Goose crawled up under the hood. MGH
