I wonder if I need to reset the ECU. The car does perform differently, but I am not certain that it is BETTER. Where I used to get a tremendous surge at around 3500 RPMs when starting from a dead stop, I no longer get the surge. I would like to think the turbo is kicking in more evenly, but the car seems to be accelerating slower now. (0-60 speed).
Maybe there is something wrong with my car? It really doesnt seem to have the kick it had the first couple of weeks after I drove it off the lot. Maybe Im just used to it, but I
I've heard some people suggest resetting the ECU after the DV installation. Does anyone know if this helps? Are there instructions on how to Reset the ECU (search is down)? Is there any danger in doing this?

reset the ECU. I did not do it with my forge valve, and I personally think it runs fine. I recommend just giving it a little more time, but if not sure, check with the dealer.

If you unplug it, it may feel more powerful as it returns to the default maps in the ECU, but it will adapt back very very shortly. I think your wasting your time, if you unplug the ECU.

Since your chipping is imminent, why don't you wait 'till you have the new, chipped ECU? This will give you a reset ECU, which will then adapt to the combination of chip and Forge.
Other than that, my car is smoother, too, with the Forge. The Burst doesn't kick in at 2.900 just as brutally as it used to. It already starts picking up power at lower RPM's, more evenly. But the acceleration is definitely _not_ worse than in the time BF (before Forge)...;-)
BTW: Greetings from Germany to everyone on this forum from someone new here.
