Default I guess I was assuming the fronts still had some traction and hadn't gotten to terminal oversteer

and that the understeer could be countered with power oversteer. I don't want a drift, I want to rotate the car using power from the back end (much like I'd expect a RWD car to do).

Default Yeah, all this is theoretical at this point. trying to figure out what this car will do is brain ach

thinking about the haldex action, then the way the LSD will react is facinating. i also decided since the tranny is fine right now (knock on wood) and the rear is cheaper to buy AND install, i'd go this way.

Default My experience is that would be difficult because we can have a 50:50 torque distribution...

So what I did to cause more power on oversteer was use larger diameter tires in the rear than the front. This caused the Haldex to engage earlier, and it also cause the rear axle to spin faster than the fronts when engaged. This worked well on accelerating, but made turn-in slower because the Haldex engages too soon on deceleration. So now, I am back to same diameter, albeit wider rear track

Default not sure that matters much, I can already get the back to walk a bit under power in some

situations. Whether or not it will do that at speed I don't know. I suspect the tires I run have too much grip and I won't have enough power with the K04 but it'll be fun to try

Default I don't know either - but that's why it's fun to discuss - you'll know soon enough

are you going to ACNA at Laguna in March? I finally get a shot at Laguna! woohoo!

Default Sweet!!!

Thanks for the update. FYI my cousin from Europe is coming out for a few weeks so hopefully the timing will work out right when I come back out there I'll bring him with. I'd like him to be able to take a ride in yours also. By that point you should be pretty comfortable with the LSD.
