got rock dinged-anyone suggest a touch up paint (amulet red) or should I let the body shop do it?

You may want to have a pro repaint your whole panel...but the time will come when a more practical solution is required.
1) Get the factory touch-up paint in a bottle.
2) fill the scratch/chip with paint and allow to cure for 24 hours. Temp. s/b above 65 degrees.
3) Get a thin, 1" wide piece of balsa wood at the hobby store.
4) Wet balsa wood with laquer thinner (don't over do it) and rub it across the repair section until flat and smooth. Allow to cure 25 hrs.
5) With rubbing compound (I let my detailer do this part) you will be unable to see the flaw.
