<center><img src="http://pictureposter.audiworld.com/13826/tboltclamp400.jpg"></center><p>My first instincts were correct.. It was in fact a hose that had come loose. What made it tricky to find was the hose that was off.
It was the upper IC hose... The nasty one that clamps under the battery tray.. That hose caused me all kinds of problems installing it. At the time I only had a "normal" hose clamp and used it. I obviously didn't get enough clamping force on it.
High boost blew it off. What was tricky was it then moved back and looked like it was still connected. the clamp was right next to the hose so it looked fine. The thick Samco hose also muffled the leak !
I had already ordered some more Hosetechniques.com T-Clamp Hoses. I used one of these on that connection this time.. These Hosetechnique clamps are the real deal.. They don't have slots that cut the silicone, are thicker then a normal hose and seal all the way around. The clamps also use a nyloc nut so it won't back off. They're very impressive.
I'd recommend these clamps to anyone changing to the Samco Silicone hoses.
After re-installing the Hose, boost was back and all is well ! : -)

pipe out of the way to get my arm back there with my LONG needle nose. The lever felt nice and tight with no play.. That's what made me continue looking for other causes...
Thanks again !

to the mall for some shopping with the wife.....got a CEL =-( No drivability issues so I pressed on.
Got home and scanned the code, sounds like I am getting the same catalytic under effeciency code now as other Stg 3ers

to heat up the cat quicker, the problem is that the Cat is high flow, and when the car is first started, there is not enough heat to get the cat up to spec temp soon enough.
If you get on the gas and gun it (which I dont until oil temp is up etc) you will never have a problem. If you start off slow and sit at a traffic light, it could trip this CEL. I have never had this before yesterday but other Stg 3 owners have had this problem for a while.
