Default Great write-up in Top Gear Magazine...

May have already been discussed, but just saw a super write-up on the TT in Top Gear magazine (UK Pub). They've voted it top coupe for the 2nd year running and feel it is just as fun, just as amazingly fresh as the first day it appeared. They even ponder how it will look in 30 years, and suggest it will attain cult/classic status. Couldn't agree more, me.

TThanks, at least the European magazines are corrupted by advertising dollars.

Default Best coupe - And the winner is...

Fashion comes and goes and it's much the same for cars as for clothes. It may be nigh-on impossible to work out what people will think of the looks of the Audi TT 30 years from now, but what we can say for sure is that, three years after its arrival, it still looks absolutely fantastic. And that's just the outside. Inside, the TT still manages to set a standard that few others can ape, never mind beat. The hard-edged, almost industrial look of all those bezels, exposed Allen screws and aluminium rings is still wonderful. In fact, the TT would probably get away with it on looks alone, even if it were as dull as ditchwater to drive. But, happily, it isn't. For sure, there may be sharper-driving coupes around, but few of them have the depth of abilities that the TT offers. With its blend of stunning looks, practicality, gorgeous interior and decent driving experience, it has spent the last year waiting for its rivals to play catch up.

I agree with them!
