Default On the grill topic...

how do you get the OEM rings off the OEM grill without braking the tabs???
I tryed to do mine last night, and they seem almost impossible to do....

Default On the suggestion of others that have replaced their grill, I ordered a new

set of rings from Clair Parts. The clips are built right into the rings.

Default Carefully.....>>

Work around the perimeter with a flat blade like a paint scraper looking for the tabs... Just be careful and they'll pop off....

Default It CAN be done...

I used a wide putty knife with a sharp leading edge and worked my way around from clip to clip. Loosen progressively as you go around.

It's not hard, But the old stocker does look better on the garage wall with the rings I s'pose!

I tried to do this, VERY carefully, and ended up buying new. :-(
