Default You're lucky it doesn't smell like a urinal.........

which happened to me. It's caused by water condensing on the A/C coils and not draining properly. Even with proper drainage, some systems will develop the stale water odor caused by a fungus. Cleaning out the water vents should do it, if you can get to them. Most of them are behind the dash and almost impossible to get to. I don't know how the TT is from that standpoint.
Good luck

Default It's probably the fungus that grew from the condensation. If so, minutes before you shut off the

car from using the AC, turn off the compressor (ECON), and turn up the fan.

This is typical behavior for any AC equipped vehicle. It's a hard habit to follow sometimes to dry up the system before shutdown.

You can also use some sprays sold in Auto stores (or just disinfectants) to rid the smell and germs after start up.
