Hi Guys, I own a 02 Audi S3 which has the same suspension setup as the Quattro TT. The H&R Coilover kit is the same for both cars... So, because theres a large group here, I thought I'd throw the question to you.
I have been offered a H&R Coilover kit used, however I am trying to determine if it is the 'COMFORT' or 'SPORT' Version.
Here is the picture attached
Further, my reasons for the Coilover kit are as follows, what I'd like to know is if you think the H&R kit is for me..
a) want to lower 25mm all around
b) want to improve the comfort off the road over uneven roads, road gaps(joins) and general ****ty roads
c) want to improve handling and body roll
I must stress, of all my most important factor is comfort. I really hate a harsh ride and at the moment I think the standard TT/S3 setup isn't the greatest!
Can anyone tell me if the H&R version with the HELPER SPRING is a Sport or Comfort version? a fellow AW member said the helper spring is for the track, with the picture I've attached being the comfort version...
The coilovers are a very low price and have been used for 10,000kms, in fact they are a bargain but I'm wanting to know is this setup going to take me a step forward in what I want, or a step back!
Hope you guys can assist !

I didn't know H&R made two coilover systems... I could be wrong though.
As for the H&R coilovers... expect a very stiff and bumpy ride. Don't expect the coilovers to help you off the road at all...

is a requirement then I would suggest Eibach and Bilstein Sport. However even that is much firmer than stock. I don't think the Bilstein HD shocks are supposed to be used with a lowering sprinbg but you could check.

All bad news it would seem!
Does anyone know the difference between the Sport & Comfort/Komfort versions of the H&RS?
Seems like I shoudlnt get the H&R and just live with my current ride...
