Default H2 Spherical Grr... Love and hate

So I have an appt for Wed afternoon for a new alighment, the bearings arrived today, got together with William (GorTT) and pressed the old ones out (they were already showing wear after only 7000 miles). I then follow instructions (very clear), everything crusing like clockwork, even had some small tubes of locktite included. What wasn't included was the locktite 7469 primer that you are supposed to use on the control arms, and Autozone doesn't carry it. Now I have to wait until tomorrow after work, and I'll have to reschedule my appt.
On a strong positive, these things look really good, they did an outstanding job producing these pieces.

So they include the easy to get stuff, but not the harder to get stuff? Ooops.

Default it's a beautiful kit, well engineered and complete - I recall Tom @ H2S saying >

he felt the primer wasn't necessary or he'd have included it, but we'll call him today and confirm. He *did* include a sanding wheel to prep the surface inside the control arm, so my guess is it's good the way it is.

Default Tom said the problem with shipping aerosol cans through UPS and such was an issue from Canada

and would delay things. plus, the amount that you need is minimal and the smallest can was about 8 oz. or so.

Default You don't need it according to Tom - as I ran into the same issue - just don't touch the surface

of the bearing with your hand and get any oils dirt etc. on it. I did find some locally though so I used it. Any industrial supply store like Fastenel will carry it.

The loctite dries REALLY fast - so make sure that you are ready to do once you spread it on and twist the bearings in quickly.

I presumed it was a small 'squeeze tube' like the loctite.

4.5oz aerosol can. not too many places have it...but it sets the adhesive quicker.
