Default Happy New Year everybody. I greeted 06 with an Aero upgrade.

I don't know why I waited so long to do this. I've always disliked the OEM bulky blade assembly, this is a far cleaner look. They work great too, lots of rain around here to test.

Looks good. What are the blade lengths again-21, 21 or 21, 22?

They are both 21's. Works perfect. They are nearly invisible from the cockpit.

Default Happy New Year! Same upgrade on my TT :)

PITA to get the old wiper arms off
cheapo gear pullers (and wiper arm pullers)
were worthless.

Used a heavy duty powersteering pump puller
THAT did it in a second!

Very happy so far but the passenger blade isn't tight on the windshield at the very edge. Seems that a blade 1" shorter may work better

I agree that it looks MUCH better
Also seems to work better at speed (less lift, tighter on windshield), esp for the driver's side.

Cheers!

PS. I got mine from ecstuning.com. Superfast shipping and excellent customer service. Thanks Jason!!!<ul><li><a href="http://www.ecstuning.com/stage/edpd/pagebuild_v2.cgi?searchstring=wiper&amp;searchqt=b yvehicle&amp;make=Audi&amp;model=TT&amp;submodel=Q uattro&amp;engine=225HP">aero wipers from ECS</a></li></ul>

Default Hey Dick! I got mine at ECS too. I had to use the old fashion way of getting the OEM blades off...

a friggin prybar, block of wood, squirt of WD-40 and brut force! Found it to be easier with the wiper in the up position...took some of the torque off the connection.

Default I knew about the outside edge from prior posts. I don't find it bothersome in the least.

Your probably right though, an inch shorter would be right on the money. A little short on top though would be the trade off. I'll stick with the flying edge!
