Default Hardtop for roadster?

Anyone heard anything about a hardtop for the roadster? I see what look like mounting brackets in the well on the back wall. Might be nice this coming winter...

Default Here's a photo, and yes all current TTR's (at least 225's) come ready for the top.

Is that factory or aftermarket?

But it looks so terrific with the soft-top, why bother?

Default If you want a hard top, opt for the coupe!

Default From Audi's own press material...

As seen in the "TT Story" book.
Probably a prototype.

Default winter...

Ice storms and no garage. Won't fade. Less noise and greater heat insulation. Prevents vandalism. Unique. And it looks really cool.

Default I want one but am a little concerned about color matching...

I have a friend with a BMW 328 convertible. She got her hardtop WITH her BMW. The guaranteed that it would be produced with the same paint batch in order to ensure color matching.

After seeing the TTR next to me at the NE Audi Event this summer and someone saying (BZ?) that it was a difference in the paint batch not just the wax I'm wondering if they will match my Amulet to a 'T.'
