TJ: Just curious how many miles your car is up to and if you have run into any major issues.
I have about 92k on my car and am thinkng about doing a turbo kit in a few months.

Even with the abuse mine received at the hands of the ex
I have only 2 major issues right now and they are being corrected...
1 coolant line to the turbo needs to be replaced
Exhaust studs from manifold to head need replacing.
The rest of the damage is purely cosmetic.
I'm @ 145000 miles so far.
Was chipped @ 5000 miles
Stage 3 @ 70000 miles
No major issues in that time but a bad water pump...killed clutch (was to be expected) and did the timing belt while doing the water pump.

Once my ex got in the car
the clutch got a severe working over...I'm real easy on clutches but she was hard on launches for sure.
THe Spec has held up though...and I dont even notice the chatter from the aluminum flywheel.

yep, mine is alcantara. it's fairly easy to source -- the hard part is the visors ...
it's basically impossible to stitch the visors to look oem -- at least, i haven't found a shop that could do it flawlessly. so i eventually sourced alcantara visors off of an rs6 -- they fit perfectly and wire up without issues, but they are hella expensive (list is around $500 each as i recall).

btw, i changed all the plastics from grey -> black, and it was not a cheap job ...
you may want to look into painting the gray pieces black. i can try to dig up the receipts, but if memory serves, dealer cost alone on all the necessary parts was around $1000 -- mainly because there are little bits of gray plastic on all sorts of parts, like the visors.
as an aside, if you're going to do all this work, you might want to upgrade to a headliner that can take the oem garage door opener. then again, all the parts for the opener is easily another $600 :-(
