Default BarTT it is a very easy install . . .

Will you be at the Northeast Accessories event on the 5th of August? If you will be, I will show you how to install it .. .look for DarTTh and you will find me!

Default I agree- good project for moving up the learning tree, and I know you like to climb trees.

Default It sounds easy, but ...

I can't make the 5th as we have visitors (and was just up in Marblehead last weekend). I guess the question is if its that easy but I still manage to screw it up, can damage occur? If so, I'd rather buy peace of mind.

Default The only part that people seem to get hung up on is removing the panel over the ECU. Just takes ...

some playing around with it to remove it.

Default The install is pretty straight forward. . .

BarTT, what state do you live in? I am on Long Island, let me know.

Can damage occur? If the valve is put in backwards I would guess that the pressure from the turbo would not get released and damage could occur.

Have you taken a look to see where the DV is located? You remove the main engine cover and the DV is at the back right (180 engine). I believe you have a 180TTQ, right? You are just going to be replacing each hose as you see it on the factory piece. You can even do one hose at a time to make sure you don't screw it up!

Let me know if you want to meet somewhere to do this.

Default I've yet to open the engine cover & the problem just began over the weekend ..

with the arrival of surginess (it was real bad last night). I'm a 225C & I think I had one honk after I did a run at 100-110 in 5th gear for a couple of miles (had to teach a lesson to some youngsters in a hopped up Civic Si ^^^^^).

I'm in North NJ but take the train into NYC while the Toad rests in the garage. I guess I should go ahead and order the Bailey and take a peak under the engine cover to see what's up. Sounds like it will be a while to get here, so there's plenty of time to take you up on your offer if it looks too daunting. Thanks for the offer & vote of confidence!
