Default Has anyone had problems with adjusting toe in rear?

I just had my 225 TTQR aligned. It is lowered about 1 inch around with PSS9's and Forge adjustable tie bars. The shop (supposedly a brake and alignment shop that does a lot of work on cars for the track) couldn't adjust the toe anymore neutral than -0.41 on left rear and -0.24 on right rear. Camber in rear is set at negative 1.5 on both sides. I was told that I needed the adjustable arms on top in addition to the bottom. Has anyone run into this problems? Has anyone put Forge arms both on top and bottom? Will this work?

Default Did they know how?

The trailing arms are slotted at their pivot point. There is some adjustment there, and most non-Audi shops don't know about this...

Otherwise you could do a 1/2 Kmac kit on the top if you want to save some money, so you'd have some toe adjustment (which is why I recommend a full kit). The ability to move in/out both the top and bottom arms is important for easy toe adjustment..

Default They did know about the pivot points

If I had known that toe was going to be an issue, I would have never bought the Forge tie bars and just bought a full Kmac kit instead --- much cheaper option.

I guess my only option now is to be a KMAC kit or live with the toe. I'll probably just live the toe.

Default Ummmm.......do yourself a favor...>

and get a 1/2 kmac for the top. The $135 or so you spend will be easily paid back in longer tire life. Excess toe-in really chews up tires!
